We haven't done this in awhile and usually I'm the one looking for suggestions. I've been commuting weekly back and forth from Houston and been catching up on movies that'll be released soon in the video store...so here are a few worthy of a view. 1). Invincibles -- based on true story about a Philadelphia Eagles walk on. 2) Devil Wears Prada -- Merryl Streep brilliant as always. It's a chick flick -- but a good and entertaining one. 3) Happy Feat - great kids movie -- Robin Williams does a number of the voices -- great family movie for those with kids or who are kids at heart. In theatres now! |

Isn't Rocky a toss-up? The inner-monologue's telling you he just wouldn't do this if it weren't good. There's no way he'd release a movie this time of year unless it would match up with the others, like Bond and Pursuit of Happiness. But then you think, "But it's Stallone. He's done this before." It's like having to choose whether to start Rex Grossman on my fantasy football team. Rocky's going to be an impulse decision for me. Thanks for the thread. I'm re-upping my netflix subscription today to get ready for Christmas break! |

Scoop is really good. Woody Allen (I love Woody Allen. He is on a very short list of my favorite film makers). Scarlett Johansen and Hugh Jackman. It is a great movie. SJ really seems to work well with Woody. I liked Match Point a lot too. |
